In the early morning, between 1:00 and 2:30 AM, you will be directly picked up from your hotel in Hurghada. The journey to the airport will take place in an air-conditioned limousine or a comfortable van, depending on the selected option. During the trip, you will receive snacks, a cola, and three bottles of water to keep you refreshed. After a short domestic flight, you will arrive in Cairo, where your private German-speaking Egyptologist will greet you.
The first stop will be the Grand Egyptian Museum, which delights with modern architecture and an impressive collection of artifacts showcasing Egypt's rich history. You will have the opportunity to admire the famous golden mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, as well as numerous relics from the pharaohs' era.
After this fascinating introduction, you will head to the Giza Plateau, where the famous Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos stand. You will have enough time to admire these magnificent structures and learn about the fascinating stories behind their construction. Right next to the pyramids stands the Great Sphinx, a mysterious masterpiece of ancient Egyptian art, guarding the secrets of the past for thousands of years. Optionally, you can take an unforgettable camel ride and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views with the pyramids in the background.
At lunchtime, you will enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant with a view of the pyramids. Afterward, you will head to the heart of Old Cairo, where you will immerse yourself in the bustling Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. The narrow streets, filled with colorful fabrics, sparkling jewelry, and oriental spices, invite you to explore and search for unique souvenirs. Here, you will feel the authentic atmosphere of the city and have the opportunity to buy one-of-a-kind mementos.
After a day full of experiences, you will be transported back to Cairo Airport, where you will take a flight back to Hurghada. Upon arrival, a transfer will be waiting to take you comfortably and safely back to your hotel.
