In the early morning, between 3:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel and travel comfortably in an air-conditioned minivan. Snacks, cola, and three bottles of water will ensure you start the day full of energy. Around 7:00 a.m., while driving through the Eastern Desert, you will enjoy breathtaking views of mountain ranges reminiscent of the Alps and make a short stop at a Bedouin village. Soon after, the green Nile Valley opens up before you as you continue towards Luxor.
Around 10:00 a.m., your exploration begins with the majestic Karnak Temple complex – Egypt’s largest temple site – featuring an impressive hypostyle hall, gigantic obelisks, and the picturesque Sacred Lake. Afterwards, you will enjoy lunch in a cozy Egyptian restaurant or optionally take a relaxing Nile cruise in Luxor.
In the afternoon, the journey takes you to the Valley of the Kings, where you will visit the famous pharaohs’ tombs, including the burial place of Tutankhamun. Next, you will explore the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of Egyptian architecture and history.
