Pickup and flight to Cairo

At 4:00 a.m. we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Hurghada airport for your domestic flight to Cairo. The exact pick-up time depends on the location of your hotel and varies depending on the distance to the airport.

Arrival in Cairo and tour

After your arrival in Cairo, you will be warmly welcomed at the airport exit by our German-speaking Egyptologist, who will accompany you throughout the day. Your Cairo tour lasts about 11 hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

First, we will visit the Pyramid Plateau in Giza, where you can admire the famous pyramids (Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinos) and the majestic Sphinx. Alternatively, you can explore the Ancient Egyptian Museum of Cairo, the world’s largest museum of ancient Egyptian art from different eras.

Lunch and Museum

After the tour, enjoy a delicious lunch of Egyptian specialties in a restaurant on the banks of the Nile. We then visit the impressive Grand Egyptian Museum, which houses a wealth of ancient treasures.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar and Return

The day ends with a relaxing stroll through the bustling alleys of the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can shop for souvenirs and experience the local atmosphere. Afterwards, we return to Cairo airport. Upon arrival in Hurghada, we will meet you again and return you safely to your hotel.
