Your adventure begins early in the morning, between 1:00 and 2:30 a.m., when you are picked up directly from your hotel. Depending on your chosen option, you will travel comfortably in a fully air-conditioned minivan with a small group, accompanied by our experienced English-speaking guide. To start your day, you will receive snacks, a cola, and three bottles of water.
During the drive through the Eastern Desert, you will witness the impressive mountain formations at sunrise, whose rock layers tell millions of years of Earth’s history. Around 8:30 a.m., you will arrive in Cairo – the vibrant capital of Egypt.
Your first stop is the famous Egyptian Museum, which houses over 120,000 artifacts – including statues, mummies, and the treasures of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Optionally, you can enjoy a boat trip on the Nile River and experience Cairo from a new perspective.
Next, you’ll be treated to a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Giza (drinks not included). Afterwards, the highlight of the day awaits: the Giza Plateau with the majestic Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos – the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World.
Admire the Great Sphinx, which mysteriously guards the plateau, and take the opportunity to enjoy an optional panoramic camel ride – a unique experience offering fantastic views of the desert and the pyramids.
