One-day trip in a small group by minibus to Luxor (Karnak and the Valley of the Kings)

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning, between 4:00 and 5:30 a.m., and depending on the selected option, you’ll travel in a small group in a comfortable, air-conditioned van. As always, we provide you with our traditionally excellent service! To start the day, you’ll be treated to a selection of snacks, a cola-type drink, and three bottles of water.

During the 160-kilometer journey through the Eastern Desert, around 7:00 a.m., you’ll see impressive mountain ranges that resemble the Alps. A short stop is planned in a Bedouin village, where you’ll have the opportunity to grab a drink and use the restroom. At the end of the desert route, the green Nile Valley will appear, and the final 60 kilometers will be covered on the national road to Luxor.

Around 10:00 a.m., you will arrive in Luxor, where your tour begins at the impressive Karnak Temple Complex, the largest temple complex in the world. Known for its dazzling hypostyle hall and picturesque Sacred Lake, this site offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient Egyptian architecture and history.

Next, you’ll enjoy lunch at a cozy Egyptian restaurant. Alternatively, you’ll have the option to take a relaxing traditional boat ride on the Nile to admire the landscape from a different perspective.

After lunch, the tour continues to the famous tombs of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom. In the Valley of the Kings, you will have the opportunity to explore the burial place of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of ancient Egyptian rulers.

Your next stop is the stunning terraced temple complex of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most significant rulers in Egyptian history. The unique architecture of this temple is truly breathtaking.

The final stop is the majestic Colossi of Memnon, giant statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These impressive monuments tell stories from a distant past and invite you to dive deeper into Egypt’s rich history.

To end the day, filled with unforgettable impressions, you will be comfortably transferred back to your hotel.
