Description:
In the early morning hours (1:00–2:30 AM), you will be picked up directly from your hotel. Depending on your booked option, you will travel in a luxurious, air-conditioned limousine or spacious van – always with the highest level of comfort and service. During the drive, you will be provided with snacks, cola, and three bottles of water for refreshment.
Around 6:00 AM, you will admire the impressive mountain ranges along the desert route, whose unique rock layers reflect the history of the Earth.
The first stop is Saqqara, where you will marvel at the groundbreaking Step Pyramid of Djoser – the oldest monumental structure in the world. Your experienced guide will explain the development from simple mastabas to the classic pyramid form. You will also visit a colorful noble tomb decorated with reliefs depicting daily life in Ancient Egypt.
Next, you’ll drive to Memphis, the former capital of Ancient Egypt. Here, you’ll see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the mysterious Alabaster Sphinx.
Then, continue to the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the world-famous Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. You’ll also admire the majestic Great Sphinx, the guardian of the pyramids for thousands of years.
For lunch, enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant with a view of the pyramids (drinks not included).
