On this unique stargazing tour, you will explore the stunning desert landscape in a jeep, visit a traditional Bedouin village, and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of astronomy. At around 2:00 PM, we will pick you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and take you directly to the desert, where our off-road, not-so-air-conditioned jeeps will be waiting for us.
Your evening begins with a pick-up directly from your hotel in Hurghada. In a convoy of safari jeeps, we will drive 26 kilometers into the desert, passing impressive mountains and sand dunes, until we reach the Bedouin camp. There, camels will be waiting for you for a 20-minute ride, perfect for taking unforgettable photos with a spectacular backdrop.
Next, we will welcome you in a Bedouin tent, where you can taste traditional herbal tea and have the opportunity to learn how to make carpets, bracelets, and necklaces with a Bedouin woman. Together, we will collect wood for a fire, on which we will bake typical Bedouin bread – a specialty you’ve never tasted before.
After sunset, dinner will be served. In a romantic candlelit atmosphere, you can enjoy freshly grilled meat, vegetables, rice, tahini, and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.
To end the evening, we will have a stargazing session. Far from the city lights, our experienced astronomer will explain the fascinating constellations, galaxies, and planets. Using one of the most powerful Meade telescopes, you will see stars in stunning clarity. It will be a magical moment that you will never forget!
After this exceptional experience, the not-so-air-conditioned jeep will safely take you back to your hotel.
