From Marsa Alam: One-Day Small Group Tour to Luxor by Minivan (Visit to Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings)

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning between 2:45 AM and 3:30 AM and travel in a small group in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. Naturally, our excellent service is included as always! To give you a boost of energy for the day, we’ll provide you in the morning with a selection of snacks, cola, and three bottles of water.

During the 160 km journey across the Eastern Desert, around 7:00 AM, you’ll be able to admire the impressive mountain ranges that resemble the Alps. On the way, we’ll make a short stop in a Bedouin village, where you’ll have the opportunity to grab a drink and use the restroom. At the end of the desert route, the green Nile Valley will appear before your eyes, and then you'll drive another 60 kilometers along the main road to Luxor.

At around 10:00 AM, you’ll arrive in Luxor and begin your tour with a visit to the impressive Karnak Temple complex – the largest temple in the world. Known for its massive hypostyle hall with gigantic columns and the picturesque Sacred Lake, this location offers a fascinating insight into ancient Egyptian architecture and history.

Next, you’ll enjoy lunch at a cozy Egyptian restaurant. Alternatively, you’ll have the option to take a relaxing ride on a traditional boat on the Nile to admire the beauty of the landscape from a different perspective.

After lunch, your journey will continue with a visit to the famous tombs of the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom. In the Valley of the Kings, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the burial site of the golden Pharaoh Tutankhamun and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of ancient Egyptian rulers.

The next stop is the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most important rulers in Egypt’s history. The unique architecture of this temple is sure to amaze you.

The final stop of the day is the majestic Colossi of Memnon, colossal statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These awe-inspiring monuments tell stories of a long-lost era and invite you to dive deep into the rich history of Egypt.

At the end of the day, our team will safely bring you back to your hotel – carrying with you unforgettable memories.
